About Pennington Gardens is located in Chandler, AZ. The Activity Manager is responsible for coordinating all internal and external resident activities. This includes creating the monthly activity calendar, arranging outside entertainment, assessing resident preferences and guiding programs to meet their needs.  This position must initiate and maintain effective communication with Community team members on all appropriate matters. This position requires good organizational and prioritizing skills to ensure that all interior and exterior maintenance represents the quality image the Community is portraying. This position works closely with all the department heads in order to provide a continued quality of care to the residents. The position requires an understanding and a commitment to the principals and values of the Community, including experience related to the progression of dementia. The Resident Care Coordinator must be able to be flexible and creative, but also have good time management skills and the ability to lead by setting a good example. This position also requires a person who can provide training and follow up to ensure the continuity and quality of care continues.
