About Skylark Senior Living is located in Ashland, OR. The Community Relations Director is responsible for all sales and marketing activities, including but not limited to managing all sales efforts, managing the leads and conducting sufficient calls required for sales conversions. Also included in the responsibilities of the position is coordinating special events, gathering appropriate documentation for move-ins and communicating on all appropriate matters to the relevant staff members.  An additional responsibility is to establish and maintain its census goals in collaboration with the Sales Team to include, but not limited to the Home Office team members and the Executive Director. It also requires the ability to provide health services training to other employees of the Community, and to oversee the medication administration program. Pay: - $75,000 / year What We Offer: - Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance - 401(k) - Employee Referral Program - An additional telemedicine benefit free of charge - Earned wage access prior to paydays (restrictions do apply) - Competitive wages and opportunities to grow Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Assist the Executive Director to ensure that policies, procedures, and state regulations are being followed. - Conduct internal quality assurance departmental audits. - Assess the health conditions and needs of the residents upon move in and when a change of condition indicates assessment. - In conjunction with the Program Manager/Executive Director, establish the appropriate level of care for the resident, based on their care needs. - Ensure routine resident assessments are met on a quarterly basis. - Participate in the development of the Plan of Care; Attend the Plan of Care meetings as indicated by Community policy or the resident’s medical condition. - Perform medication room and medication cart audits as needed. - Monitor the 24-hour communication and alert system for compliance; Appropriately and timely assess residents who have been put on alert status; Remove residents from alert after appropriate assessment of their condition. - Review all physician’s transcriptions, progress notes, discharge orders, move in orders, and hospital notes; update as necessary every 90 days. - Investigate incidents and behavior changes that require a License Nurse assessment; Document all incidents and changes in the resident’s progress notes. Required Experience: - A current nursing license in the state of employment without restrictions. - Prefer prior nursing experience in a long term care setting. - Proficient in logging electronic medical records and other everyday computer skills. - All candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint/criminal background check and a comprehensive reference check. The position will provide assistance to the Wellness Director.  What We Offer: - Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance - 401(k) - Employee Referral Program - An additional telemedicine benefit free of charge - Earned wage access prior to paydays (restrictions do apply) - Competitive wages and opportunities to grow Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Responsible for fulfilling daily, weekly and monthly job checklist duties and other duties as needed. - Assess the health conditions and needs of the residents upon move in and when a change of condition indicates assessment. - In conjunction with the Wellness Director, establish the appropriate level of care for the resident, based on their care needs. - Ensure the resident safety needs are met, utilizing specific assessment and evaluation tools. - Become proficient at gathering and in-putting information into an electronic care/service plan system; Implement interim service plans as needed. - Ensure staff becomes familiar with changes in the resident’s care needs. - Serve as a liaison between the Community, family and resident when needed. - Communicate and coordinate with case managers, guardians, family members or regulators when a resident's safety is at risk. - Monitor the 24-hour communication and alert system for compliance; Appropriately and timely assess residents who have been put on alert status; Remove residents from alert after appropriate assessment of their condition. - Review all physician’s transcriptions, progress notes, discharge orders, move in orders, and hospital notes; update as necessary every 90 days. - Investigate incidents and behavior changes that require a License Nurse assessment; Document all incidents and changes in the resident’s progress notes. - Become knowledgeable of all state regulations governing assisted living communities. - Assist in writing service plans with the Resident Care Coordinator. - Perform nursing assessments as instructed by the Wellness Director.   Required Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent, higher education preferred in a related field. - A minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a Marketing and Sales position; work in a senior living community is preferred. - Must be able to speak English proficiently. - Training available for qualified candidates. - All candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint/criminal background check and a comprehensive reference check.
